Friglo showcased its products under the organization of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian Development Agency, in a hall specifically designated for food kept at sub-zero temperatures. The exhibition gathered over 7,500 exhibitors from 127 countries and attracted more than 285,000 professional visitors, making it a unique opportunity for the exchange of experiences, innovations, and the establishment of new business arrangements.
Highlighting Trends and New Opportunities
This year’s SIAL brought significant insights into changes in the global food market. One of the most notable trends was the increasing presence of suppliers from countries like Egypt, China, and India, who are rapidly improving their technology and capacities. Their competitive offers, based on large volumes and low prices, pose a challenge to European suppliers, although the quality of their products has not yet reached the same level.
